Come Follow Me 2020, June 1-7 Alma 5-7, Free LDS Primary Lesson Helps
Updated: May 31, 2020
Come Follow Me- For Primary page 85 "Explain that Alma worked to gain a testimony after the angel visited him. Slowly read Alma 5:46 a few times, and invite the children to listen for what Alma did and how he knew the truth."
Get some helpers to slide the tour page, while you read the scriptures.
“Display pictures of things that grow gradually and need constant care, like a plant or a baby animal. Ask the children to share how we take care of these things and help them grow. Remind them that we must also take constant care of our testimonies.”
Children can put these pictures in the correct order.
Use an empty balloon to represent a testimony and blow air into it each time you share something that helps testimonies grow.
Here is an idea for older kids and/or families. I remember adding a log to the fire at girls camp (in my youth) during testimony meeting. I found a fantastic talk about keeping our testimonies bright like a bonfire by Joesph B. Wirthlin.
If you are a family who creates a big bonfire of everyones testimonies on your wall, please share pictures.
