Welcome back to Sunday school, it has been awhile, but isn't that just one of the perks to the calling? We sometimes go a month without giving a lesson(:
Here are this week's free ideas and printables:
You can print them and read about them in the lesson plan below. (They are near the bottom).

Here is this week's purchasable lesson help. Just click the image below to go to Etsy. You can also read about it in the lesson plan below.
This is already included in the lesson bundle, but you can purchase it separately if you would like; just click on the image.

I am all over the place today. You can also choose the order in which you would like to do these activities. But I would:
1. Object lesson
Quote
Game
If I still had time, watch the movie and have them record their insights on the journaling page.
I would much rather give you too much than not enough, so be cautious with your time and remove anything you don't feel meets your students' needs.
I usually copy the section of the lesson that is being focused on, but this week I am focusing on the entire lesson. You can find it here:
If you choose to purchase the lesson, you will set up your board like this:
When your youth chooses a number, you will erase it from the board.
You might want to ask the students what they know about these stories (at the top of the board before you start) and have them tell a quick version of each category.

There are actually 2 questions that the youth GET TO answer before they can get their points. Here is a sample of some of the notes:
They may need time to look up scriptures and think about their answers. If you can manage it, let the other team pick their number and be working on their answer while you wait for the first team. I am ADHD, so if this suggestion is too much for you, you can keep it simple, and I will accept that(:

This week's lesson has 4 different movies, they are great, but this one was my favorite. I highly recommend it. I have a free journaling printable and object lesson that goes specifically with this.
See also Dieter F. Uchtdorf, “Daily Restoration,” Liahona, Nov. 2021, 77–79; “Daily Restoration” (video), Gospel Library.
In the movie/Conference talk, Elder Uchtdorf talks about walking a straight line. I think it would be fun to test this in the classroom. Do your best to find the center of two opposing walls in the classroom. Blindfold one of the youth and tell them to walk a straight line, as straight as they can. Have someone waiting on the other side in the very center of the wall. See how they do. Point out that if the classroom were bigger, it would be even more difficult. And if they had been able to see landmarks, they would have done much better.

Then share this quote:

You can compare this to the Daily Manna (scriptures, prayer, and revelation) that we must partake of every day to stay on the straight path. Jesus Christ is the Bread of Life; he is our daily manna. It's all about having a relationship with him.
