I did not do the lesson:
December 15–21: “The Family Is Central to the Creator’s Plan”The Family: A Proclamation to the World
I believe it is church wide that only the sacrament meeting is held the week of Christmas. I figured everyone would rather teach the Christmas lesson.
There are two Free Prints this week:
You can print these in the lesson plan below.

And this week in my store:

There are NO gift tags available in this week's lesson bundle. But you can click these images to go to my store and purchase one.
“He is the light, the life, and the hope of the world.”
In the final paragraph of “The Living Christ,” note the attributes and titles given for the Savior. Consider spending time learning about some of them. For example:
Light: How is Jesus Christ like a light to you? You might consider drawing a picture or taking a photo that, to you, represents the light He gives you. What do you feel inspired to do to share His light? (See also John 8:12; 3 Nephi 18:24; Doctrine and Covenants 50:24.)
Life: Why do you think life is a good word to describe Jesus Christ? In what sense does He give you life? How would your life be different without Him and His gospel? (See also John 10:10; 1 Corinthians 15:19–23; Doctrine and Covenants 66:2.)
Hope: What do you hope for because of Jesus Christ and His gospel? Do you know someone who feels hopeless about the future? Ponder how you might share with that person the hope you feel in Jesus Christ. (See also Romans 8:24–25; Ether 12:4; Moroni 7:41.)
See also Topics and Questions, “Jesus Christ,” Gospel Library.
This is a free Print and will be helpful when playing the game. For example, there will be questions about paragraph 5 (or 6, 7, 8, etc.) in The Living Christ. If you don't purchase my lesson, you can use this to create your own questions.

It will also be very beneficial in the game to have these scripture cards. The scriptures are repeated a lot, and it would go much more smoothly if you didn't have to wait for the youth to look them up over and over.

These are the only free prints this week; the rest are in my store at the bottom of the page.
Play Connect 4 with three teams:
Team Hope
Team Light
Team Life
Each team has a bag of shapes (printables in my store @ the bottom of the page) in their team’s color or label. If you print black and white, I recommend printing each team in its own color of cardstock. Just like the real game of Connect 4, colors really do matter.

How to Play
A team takes a turn by pulling one shape from their bag. Each shape includes a question or prompt related to its theme.
Each student takes a turn to answer the question and shares their thoughts with the class. This keeps everyone involved and not just one student on their team doing all the work. I would allow them to get help from their team, but it is essentially up to them to answer the question.
After the student/team shares, the teacher approves the presentation(this keeps answers sincere and keeps the game spiritually focused).
Once approved, the team places their shape anywhere on the large Connect 4 grid drawn on the board.
Teams take turns until one team gets 4 in a row(vertical, horizontal, or diagonal).
If time allows, clear the board and play another round! Each team will have about 30 shapes in their bag, so they can play multiple games if they have time. You can even remove some questions that you don't want. You can even have them switch bags so another group can learn and present about a different topic.
Set up your board like this:
I added extra boxes than a standard Connect 4, because you have three teams instead of two.

Here are samples of the three shapes:
I recommend printing them on cardstock. If you print black and white, I recommend printing each team in its own color of cardstock. Just like the real game of Connect 4, colors really do matter.

Here is what your board might look like when you are done:

After they have become experts in these three topics, ask them why “He is the light, the life, and the hope of the world.”?
You can also close with this testimony from Elder Soares.
Merry Christmas!
