“Seek learning, even by study and also by faith.”
The Lord told the Saints to establish a “school of the prophets” in Kirtland (Doctrine and Covenants 88:137). Much of the instruction in section 88 taught them how to do it. This instruction could also help you “establish … a house of learning” (verse 119) in your own life. In fact, you could look at verses 77–80 and 118–26 as blueprints to “remodel your home [or your life] into a center of gospel learning” and “a sanctuary of faith”
Preparation:
Print and cut out the provided scripture cards (included in the Freebies).
Attach one card to each cup using tape or glue.
Distribute the Cups: Hand out one cup (with a scripture card attached) to each youth.
If you have more than 12 youth, have them work in pairs to share a cup. If you have fewer than 12, give them two cups.
Scripture Search & Create: Instruct the youth to:
Look up the scripture on their card.
Write a short thought or phrase that stood out to them directly on the cup with the card.
(Optional but encouraged!) Add a drawing that relates to their verse.
Sharing & Building: In number order, invite the youth to come up front one by one to:
Briefly share what they learned from their scripture.
Add their cup to the structure to help build the house together.
Let them be creative with how they stack the cups—it’s their house of faith!

It may look something like this when it is completed:
There are 12 cups, which means they can't really build it into a tower. Tell them to be creative with this.

(Russell M. Nelson, “Becoming Exemplary Latter-day Saints,” Ensign or Liahona, Nov. 2018, 113). It could be interesting to sketch what your personal “remodel” might look like, including phrases from these verses that you feel you need to apply.
It might also help to explore these questions: Why are learning and education important to the Lord? What does He want me to study? How does He want me to learn? Look for answers to these questions in verses 77–80 and in “Truth will make you free” (For the Strength of Youth: A Guide for Making Choices, 30–33).
What do you think it means to learn “by study and also by faith”? (verse 118). What insights do you gain from Elder Mathias Held’s message “Seeking Knowledge by the Spirit”? (Ensign or Liahona, May 2019, 31–33).

Next, if you would like to purchase the rest of the youth lesson (in my store at the bottom of the page). Here is what I have in mind:
Families live in houses, let's play Family Feud(:
Setup:
Divide into Teams:
Split your students into two teams.
Give each team 6 cups (12 total). Use the same cups you already used in the first activity.
Prepare the Cups:
Remove the scripture papers from the cups.
Stick those papers (or cards) on the chalkboard. These are the only “cheat sheets” players will use. (If you have younger youth, allow them to have an open book or prep them before to take really good notes on their cards.)
Cup Placement:
Set the cups on opposite sides of the table—ready for stacking!
How to Play:
The Race:
One player from each team comes up.
After you read the question, they race to stack their 6 cups as fast as possible. This replaces the "buzzing in" that they do on Family Feud.
Answer the question:
The first to finish stacking gets to answer the question.
If they’re right, their team takes control and tries to guess the remaining answers.
Three Strikes:
Each wrong guess = 1 strike ❌.
If the team gets 3 strikes, the other team has a chance to steal.
Watch a Clip (Optional):
If you're unfamiliar with how Family Feud works, you can watch a quick clip on YouTube for inspiration.
This game is ideal for encouraging every student to participate. Be sure to move around to each student as they demonstrate with the game on TV.
The only thing I'm not sure about is how to keep score, but I will leave that up to you.
Here is a sample of one of the boards with the matching question:

Here is a sample of the number cards.
I recommend printing these on colored card stock.

There are six boards (pages) in total. I believe that is sufficient, especially considering the study and discussion at the beginning.

There is also an answer key, 3 X sheets, and a title page that says "Family Feud"
Hope you enjoy!

This is already in the lesson bundle, but you can purchase it separately below.
