"Ye Shall Be Witnesses unto Me"- July 1-7

Another fun CFM week. Some of these stories I never heard of before. I'm so grateful for this program and all that I'm learning.
This idea came from Come Follow Me- For Primary, I just had fun dolling it up(:
It says:
Play a matching game with two sets of pictures of the Twelve Apostles. When a match is made, share the Apostles/Presidents name and something about him.
So ya gotta, print 2 copies, of each page..except the fun facts pages. Preferably on card stock so it isn't see-through.

So I'm not sure how to adapt fun facts to very small children. Also, I want to do this for FHE with my entire family. Luckily, I had to read through a lot of material to put this together. So I'll probably get out my notes and share lots of info about each of them for the benefit of my older children, and for my younger kids I'll just show them the pictures and tell them a basic fact.

The movie the church suggests watching: Chapter 55: The Apostles Lead the Church.
Here is and activity for younger kids.
Start by cutting out the picture of the prophet.
May want to add some protective tape to the picture of Jesus or get this page laminated.
Tape the picture of the Prophet over the pic of Jesus. This is how the kids will see it.
The kids will help teach the lesson by adding the small pictures, to the page, and talking about what the prophet teaches us.
Then you remove the picture of the prophet....surprise!
The Prophet speaks for Jesus and Heavenly Father.
Here are some acting props for Ananias and Sapphira. Spoiler Alert: They die.
It might get a little silly acting out this story, because they both just fall to the ground after Peter talks to them about their dishonesty. It might be better for the home/family, but you know your class. You know what is funny, both my girls wanted to be Sappira, because she looks so pretty. I had to tell them that she wasn't a good person.(:
Come Follow Me-For primary page 102:
Use paper bag puppets to act out simple situations in which someone is being honest or dishonest. Ask the children to stand up if the person was being honest, or sit on the floor if the person was being dishonest.
Remember these come in Black and White for those that want to make this into a "family puppet night". You can also add yarn, buttons or wiggle eyes for more sensory.
I got some of the ideas for the small stories from the Friend Magazine. The other ones....they never happen in my home or my family. (: I just pulled them out of no where.

It think all my kids will want a turn acting out the "lee-ping" crippled man(: Which means we can read the that scripture a couple times.
