"Thou Art the Christ" April 1-14
Updated: Apr 1, 2019
In the Come Follow Me Manuel, it says to ponder the lesson while you listen to General Conference. So I made these activities conference friendly..... something the kids can do during conference.
For my family...we will probably play "conference bingo", and save these activities for our family study. But, it's an option.
Here is some fun Origami for older children. As you will notice when you start folding that my lines aren't perfect. I know, you get what you pay for. But, it is easy to fix, just line up your folds like the video shows you. I was able to fix the printing on this, for those of you who got the email.
The next one is a sensory activity for Smaller children. You might want to print this on card stock, if you want them more sturdy. After colored cut-out and string, great small motor and sensory skills!
May want to print on Card Stock
This one for an older kid again, not as hard as my last dot-to-dot, that went to 101, but I was tempted.(: I wish I could see the prophets face if he ever sees these activities. I hope he would laugh.
For Younger Kids:
I really liked this from the Friend church magazine, I kept in black and white incase someone wants to color it. Here is the "In The Scripture's" activity this week. It's so nice the Friend did it for me.
In the Manuel it's has us read D&C 8:2-3. I love that it has us read those verses. Because we have the same priesthood that Moses held, that gave him the power to part the red sea. It is the same Holy Ghost! Here a kid friendly version of the story from the Friend. It's the same picture, but I added the scripture to the bottom, because we print these off for all our primary kids, and sometimes they don't have help finding the scriptures at home. Also, scriptures are just so very powerful.
You are welcome to that copy.
This is from the old Primary 3 Choose the Right B. They had a bunch of books they were throwing away and I grabbed them. I thought this was a cute activity.
Last one, a Testimony sheet. I have my first son's testimony written by his own hand when he was 8 years old. It is special to me. Why don't I have my other kids testimonies written? Well, life happened and I got busy. So take this opportunity to have your kids write their testimony, for younger kids, you be the scribe.
This was such a fun week! I hope you have as much fun using as I did designing. I hope you enjoy your study of the Gospel!
