July 22-28 "The Lord Had Called Us for to Preach the Gospel."
Updated: Jul 20, 2019
The very first thing the Primary Manuel asks is:
Do the children you teach know what missionaries do?
This is a visual to help teach that.
Here is the movie the church put out of Paul and Silas in Prison:
The Primary Manuel suggests acting out the story. These are some masks for kids to wear to help them act it out.
This is for younger kids that like the story to move. Remember these come in Black and white for those that like to color.
Here is a game you can play to review the movie/scriptures of Paul and Silas and missionary work.
There are questions here that end with "How do you be a good missionary?" those are for the younger kids, while the other ones can be for the older kids in your family. If you are doing this for primary you can make more for the age that you need them for.
The Primary book also suggests making missionary name tags for the kids.
Here is a coloring page to help teach Acts 17:29.
Another coloring, cut and glue page, with an amazing scripture. Just so you know the scripture spelled the word "Haply" , I'm assumed it meant Happily. It actually means by chance or by accident. But, I figured that would still make you happy to find him after seeking.
Activity to help teach the song "I Know My Father Lives." This is good for Mom's teaching young kids the songs they will be learning at church, but also good for music leaders that go into the nursery, or Junior Primary.
Can hide these pieces around the room, and sing the song a couple of times.
The Primary Manuel suggests making a scripture reading chart. If you print the scriptures sheet on sticker paper, then you can just peel and stick.
The Primary Manuel suggest hiding scriptures of Christ around the room. Desert News had some available, and already made so pretty.
I was in a super big rush to get this done, so keep checking back to see if I updated stuff. And let me know if I messed up on anything, believe me, it doesn't hurt my feelings, I really appreciate it.
