"He is Risen" June 24-30
Updated: Jun 23, 2019

This week was so, so fun! To make all my ideas, I hit the morning running to my computer. I giggled, my kids giggled. Experimenting with the printouts and taking pictures was so fun. I didn't shower till 2:00 somedays. I know TMI (: If you haven't been great about doing CFM, this is the week to repent, and start again...whether you use my print outs or not. The Resurrection is the MOST important event in history!
Here is the video that the Primary Manuel suggest watching.
Explain that when Jesus died, his spirit left his body. When He was resurrected, His spirit and His body came together again. CFM-for Primary pg. 97
This next activity does exactly that. It is like a mitten without a thumb. It will only fit on a child's hand.

I think Printing off this black and white picture, without coloring it, is a good example of Jesus's "spirit."

After this activity, it would be a good time to watch this movie:
This gives the whole story of the CFM lesson this week, minus doubting Thomas.
You can use this as a daily count down for this week, if you like. Just add the Thomas story.

I adore acting things out with my family. My teenager's fun, cute sides come out, and they are willing to be apart of the show. I made the scripts super easy and simple to read for young children....they can repeat after their parents or adult. This would be fun for a Primary class too.

I could stop there, but I have 6 kids(: If you need more, you can print off two soldiers, and two Peter's and call one John.

After talking about "Doubting Thomas" it would be a great time to sing: "Did Jesus Really Live Again?" Children's song book 64. Or watch this youtube video:

For those of you who have very little children, that won't "Get" the mask business, Mitzi at https://emiscrafty.com/2018/12/10/come-follow-me-2019-lesson-plans/
has done a fabulous job simplifying the story with pictures.
She has also done a great job explaining my whole "mitten" activity. I've told you before lesson plans are not my thing. I just like to play on Photoshop (:
Jesus Has a Body! Such an important Principal of the gospel.

The last activities are For Primary Lesson helps, or for parents who teach from the Primary Manuel....which I totally recommend to every parent with small children.

Here is another activity for Faith:

My daughter didn't get it at first, and just incase you don't either, the flower is just decoration til the real flower grows(:

I have a testimony sheet, and a "testidraw" for kids that can't write yet. (:
