Come Follow Me, September 23-29 "Walk in the Spirit"

The Primary Manual says: " Read Galatians 5:22-23 with the children, and explain words they may not be familiar with. Invite each child to select a fruit of the spirit mentioned in these verses and tell about a time when he or she experienced that fruit of the spirit.
These words are hard for little children, but it's great to keep exposing them to scriptures. I made pictures to go along with the words, I hope that helps...and a little puzzle for them to match the fruit to the picture.
Yes, I totally got my inspiration from that fruit stacking game.
In the manual it says "Explain to the children that many things can feel like a burden, such as being sick or feeling lonely. What can we do to help a person with this kind of burden?"
Here is a coloring page for older children. The manual also suggest drawing pictures of ways they can help others.

Come Follow Me- For Primary page 150 " Read Galatians 6: 7-9 to the children. Ask the children to pretend to plant a seed when they hear the word "soweth." Ask them to pretend to pick a vegetable from a plant when they hear "reap."
So along that line, here is some seed packets and a pocket on the "tree page" to plant them in.
This is one of Mitzi's amazing ideas. I'm so glad so she thought of this because I was stumped on this scripture. Mitzi makes free lesson plans at https://emiscrafty.com/2018/12/10/come-follow-me-2019-lesson-plans/ and her ideas are wonderful for small children.
You can fold on the dotted line to create a pocket to store the seeds, or you can just glue the seeds under the tree.
Here are Mitzi's instructions:
Scripture: Read and discuss Galatians 6:7-9. Explain that when we plant seeds, that’s called “sowing.” Picking the fruits/vegetables that grow from seeds is called “reaping.”
-Sorting Brown Seeds into Corruption/ Everlasting Life Packets: Cut out the brown seeds and put them all together in a pile. Let everyone take turns choosing one seed out of the pile. As each seed is chosen, discuss if it would be a seed of corruption or a seed of life everlasting (remind them of what these words mean). Sort them by placing them into the correct seed packet. Once you’re done sorting, ask which packet of seeds they think would grow into the best plant?
- Tree Chart: Once the packets are filled with the seeds, work together to “plant” them on the “Whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap” chart. Place the everlasting life seeds in the ground on the left side and the corruption seeds on the right side. Look at the pictures of what the seeds will grow into. Which of these trees looks better? Discuss how our actions have consequences. The choices we make (the seeds we plant) determine consequences and blessings we’ll receive. When we make good choices, good blessings can grow. When we make wrong choices, the consequences aren’t positive. Remind them of how great the blessings are for making right choices and how Christ can help us when we make wrong choices.
-Additional Seeds we Can Sow: Have kids write additional ideas of “seeds” they must sow in order to “reap” blessings on the extra blank seeds and put them into the chart.

Here is the pick up the stick activity.
You can stop here, or you can add to it. By matching the choices with the consequences, May want to explain that "good consequences" are also called "blessings." Then match the choice with the consequence one at a time while you disuse it.

This is obviously for senior primary children, and/or families...where smaller kids can attach the links while older children look up scriptures and talk about consequences.
