Come Follow Me -Oct 21-27 "Be Not Soon Shaken in Mind, or Be Troubled"

Come Follow Me- For Primary page 161 "Ask the children to talk about a time when they prepared for a trip or event. What did they do to prepare? Bring a suitcase or bag and let the children pretend to pack it in preparation for a trip or even. Explain that we prepare for Jesus Christ to come again by praying, reading the scriptures, following the prophet, and living righteously each day. Ask the children to draw pictures of how they do this and put it in the suitcase."

Or they can have their own suit case. You can draw a picture on the back and the children can take them home, then they can open there little suit cases and be reminded of what they can do to be prepared for the 2nd coming.

Here is for a younger class that might not "get" drawing yet.

Cut everything out, glue the edges of the suit case so there is a small opening in the top. Roll play with the children that they are packing the suit case with what things they need, then dump out the stuff (or add to it) the things we need to do to prepare for the second coming.

Come Follow Me- For Primary page 162 “...invite the children to say ”Apostasy” when you hide the items in the bag and “restoration” when you bring the items back out.”

Here is a fun idea that goes along those lines.
