Come Follow Me- for Primary page 131 "How can you help the children recognize that they need the Holy Ghost to understand "the things of God?'
I love this activity!
My Mother-in-law is a primary teacher, and asked that I make a "I know Paper" for a girl also.
I've had children say things like "I haven't read the book of Mormon, how can I know that it is true?"
I ask "Have you seen Jesus?" "Have you meet Joesph Smith?" That is the neat thing about the Holy Ghost. You can just say "I know Jesus Loves Me" the the spirit will tell you "Yes, that's true!" Or "I know the Book of Mormon is True" and the spirit will tell you if it is true. Ask the children how they feel after they say "I know.."

I hope you can figure out how to print double sided. I never can. Really fun idea. If it was me I would hide, member of the Godhead at the bottom. And if they have an idea, say "maybe, but lets hear all the clues to make sure."
Sister Sherry Wallace suggests that they all say it together at the end.

“Show objects or pictures that represent ways we learn about the world. What can we learn when we use these things? Paul taught that we can learn about God only through the Spirit of God, which is the Holy Ghost. What can we do to learn the “things of God?”

Come Follow Me-For Primary page 130 “Give each child a rock with ”Jesus Christ is my foundation” written on it. Let them take the rocks home to remind them what they learned.”
So I made a printable for Primary teachers, but for those that are doing this as a family, I suggest painting rocks together, and Modge Podgeing these pictures on.
I made different sizes for different sized rocks.
Come Follow Me-For Primary page 130 “Share pictures that depict some of your favorite stories from the Savior’s life, and ask the children to tell you what is happening in the pictures. Let them share some of their favorite stories about Jesus. Bear your testimony that ”Jesus Christ is the foundation of my faith.”
This was so fun to do with my little girl. She knew most of the stories, some of them we had a quick refresher. But, she loved them all and ended up with all of them as her foundation.
I told her how the wind was going to blow and the rain was going to fall, but because she is built on Christ she won't fall.
I'm so sorry about the multiple copies, I wish I could put all those pictures on one page, but then it won't upload to my webpage because it is too many GB.
Here is an idea from a Primary Teacher named Sister Calleen Martindale. I love it! So meaningful and fun.
You remove the Christ , (which is on a plastic cereal holder) and everything falls. She got the tuba-wear from the dollar store. Sister Martindale got the images from Bing Images. And the picture of Christ from the gospel art kit.
I've also seen something similar with Jenga Blocks and Christ was at the bottom on a box. Super Cute!
This activity was Mitzi's idea from https://emiscrafty.com/2018/12/10/come-follow-me-2019-lesson-plans/. She wanted me to make something like this picture, that the church put out.
But, there are no bad choices, got to have bad choices.

"Display a picture of a child, and put pictures around it of things that are good for our bodies and things that are bad. Invite the children to take turns identifying the good things and removing the bad ones."
May want to discuss that some of the "bad things" are only bad if done too much, same with the good things(: Also, the medicine is only bad if you take it when you aren't sick.
Here is an other way to teach this:
Assemble the puppet (with a paper bag), have small children feed the puppet, if it’s a good thing the puppet will “eat it up”...even if it’s exercise..that’s what makes it funny. If it is bad for the body, then the puppet will spit it out. Warning: it will make kids giggle, and might not be the most reverent activity. (:
Come Follow Me- For Primary “ Sing together a song about bodies, such as ”Head, shoulders, knees and toes” CSB 275, and ask the children why they are thankful for their bodies.”
Assemble the spinner. When the arrow lands on a body part the child(ren) can tell why they are grateful for that body part. You can also wiggle that body part together and talk about all the great things about it.

Sister Janece Vines, is an adorable primary teacher. I've read her lesson ideas on Facebook, till I finally contacted her and suggested she share them on my website. I'm hoping they can get to more people this way, because they really are awesome. This is a late entry, because she went shopping and found this cute garbage can at the Dollar Store:

Isn't that darling! I've tried to make a garbage similar to that one in photoshop. Don't you just wish we could have the real thing?
Janece suggests: "let them write down ways we might trash our bodies and then let them try to toss them in the cans. After we discuss keeping our bodies clean, we will empty our trash cans."

"Help the children role-play how they could respond to people who think Church teachings are "Foolish."
Here are some Scenarios written out, with scriptures and prophet teachings to help teach the principals:
If you have visual children, you can print these out as puppets, or it comes in black and white if kids just want to color while they listen to the stories about the two kids.
Come Follow Me- for Primary page 131 “Bring a wrapped gift with pictures of a child and a temple inside. Invite the children to read 1 Corin 6:19-20, guess what is in the gift.
If you are like me, it might be hard to dig out your wrapping paper and find a box...I've got you covered.

Weeks are flying by! I can't believe it, School has started so that means it's pretty much fall, and in the Fall we have pumpkins and Halloween, and right after Halloween we go Christmas shopping, so I just want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas! (:
