"Be Not Afraid" March 25-31
Updated: Mar 23, 2019

I chose this picture, because there is a child in it, and this whole blog is about children. But, I also love how it shows that it was a child that gave. If he was brave enough to give his humble offering to serve others then we can be brave enough to give of ourselves, even if we do feel inadequate.
The First two activities are coloring pages, but they leave an open door for lots or discussion between kids and Parents/Teachers.

There are a bazillion kid friendly activities for feeding the 5,000. My favorite is from http://faithsprouts.blogspot.com/2015/03/jesus-feeds-5000-people.html
Her ideas are adorable. It is hard for kids to understand the concept of 5,000 people, hey it's hard for adults. In this blog she uses a 3/4 cup of rice to show how much 5,000 is. Isn't that Genius! I'm also going to make those bracelets with my kids!
Here is a simplified story from the Friend

I have a cute friend that home schools and they do a lot of CFM with their "homework." She has asked that I design some worksheets that go with the weekly topic, that will get her older kids into the scriptures. Of course! Why didn't I think of that.

I read "Jesus Christ invites me to set aside my fears and doubts and exercise faith in Him" and right away a primary song enters my head. Maybe 15 years in primary does pay off.

Here is an illustration of Jesus with Peter on the water, from the Friend
Sometimes it is hard to print those off so here is a printer friendly version.

This is a "Sharing Time" outline from the churches website. I love the picture and the message in this.

This talk is amazing! It has of stories from Elder D. Todd Christofferson life about using the "bread of life". It goes along perfect with the lesson. https://www.lds.org/ensign/2012/01/recognizing-gods-hand-in-our-daily-blessings?lang=eng
One more, and it comes with an awesome activity.

You might think I've gone absolutely crazy when I tell you about this last activity. But, I'm excited, and it's a new texture....which is fabulous for little fingers.

It looks like a normal coloring page, and it can be that if that is what you want it to be. But, my girls love glitter, and I thought, "Won't that be fun to mix bread crumbs and glitter together?" Please, someone out there, tell me I'm not the only one who thinks like this. (:

Para mis amigos Españoles
Desde entonces, no entiendo su belleza ... por favor, alguien comente si he cometido un error. ¡Gracias!
